Nigeria Choses Ghana Over Bafana Bafana SOCCER

It has been revealed that the Nigeria Football Federation has been urged by its players and coach to choose the game against Ghana over the match against Bafana Bafana.

After taking the African rivals proposal into consideration earlier this week it has emerged the The Eagles players have opted to play in the game against Ghana due to the fact that it will held in Europe where they are currently located.

The game is set to be played on the 9th of August at the Watford Vicarage Road Stadium which is closer for all the respective team mates to travel to. The decision came after the players learnt that the friendly would take place just days before the 2011/2012 soccer season kicks off and
that they would not want the travelling to affect their performance.

“The players do not want the South Africa friendly since it will amount to them having to travel thousands of miles from their various base in Europe back to the continent. It is even worse because at about that time it will be just a few days to the start of the season in Europe. So that’s why they have settled for the game against Ghana in London,” said a source in the NFF.
